Its products are widely used in industries such as metallurgy, petroleum, chemicals, power generation, building materials, photovoltaic energy storage, nuclear power, defense, airports, and rail transit, and are also exported to more than ten countries and regions across Asia and Europe. The company’s dedicated power supplies for rail-transit platform screen doors serve nearly 20 major cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chongqing; during the 31st Summer Universiade in 2023, the company provided comprehensive support to ensure the safe operation of the Chengdu Metro, earning high praise. In addition, the company’s power-supply solutions played a key role in supporting the 2025 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, successfully fulfilling the power-supply assurance mission for the Chongqing sub-venue.

About Us
Chongqing Rongkai ChuanYi Instrument Co., Ltd. traces its origins to the former Southwest Spiral Wire Factory (later renamed Sichuan Instrument Plant No. 21 and then Chongqing ChuanYi Plant No. 21). Established in accordance with the central government’s “Third Front” construction policy and with approval from the State Planning Commission and the First Ministry of Machine Building, the company was formed through the relocation of half of the Shanghai Weiquan Instrument Spiral Wire Factory to Chongqing, where it was paired with and jointly set up. The plant was officially completed and put into operation in March 1966.
The company currently focuses on the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of AC/DC power systems, uninterruptible power supplies, and industrial automation instruments. Its main products include industrial-grade UPSs, EPS emergency power supplies, DC switchgear panels, UPAD integrated power supplies, photovoltaic–storage charging power supplies, lithium iron phosphate battery packs, power supplies dedicated to rail transit, instrument hairsprings, temperature- and pressure-measuring instrument assemblies, and small-module gears. The company holds nearly 100 national patents and has obtained numerous international and domestic certifications, including QES triple-system certification, CE certification, EAC certification, 3C certification, TLC certification, energy management system certification, green supply chain system certification, and five-star after-sales service certification. It also possesses Grade-II professional contracting qualifications for building mechanical and electrical installation projects and has been awarded such prestigious honors as National High-Tech Enterprise, Chongqing Municipal Enterprise Technology Center, “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” Enterprise, Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology-Based Enterprise, and Chongqing Municipal SME Technology R&D Center. Furthermore, the company is a member of the China Power Supply Society and serves as a director unit.
